Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj had shared a heartfelt story of a gajra seller on his Instagram handle along with a picture of him holding all the gajras after he bought the entire bunch from her.

In the photo, Bhardwaj is seen dressed in a black tee and jacket with beige pants. He is all smiles for the camera as he strikes a pose with gajras in his hand.

Along with the picture, he wrote, ‘Met a ‘Gajra Seller’ while waiting for a shot to be taken. Her fascinating life story deserves a film. She comes from Sahibabad at night to sell Gajras at CP Delhi. She is the sole bread earner of her family and is a support to her son and daughter, who are studying in college. The twist in the story is that her family thinks that she is a night guard at a respected hospital in Delhi.
