Alia Bhatt’s film “Gangubai Kathiawadi” set to release on the same date as Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar – New Delhi Times – India Only International Newspaper

Gangubai Kathiawadi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s masterpiece, was planned to be released in January. It was formerly set to be released on January 6, 2022. 

RRR, a film starring Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Ajay Devgn and directed by SS Rajamouli, is slated to be released on January 7, 2022. As a result, Sanjay Leela Bhansali pushed down the release of his picture to avoid a major box office clash. Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Ajay Devgn, now has a new release date. On February 25, 2022, it will be released.

The film’s producers have announced that the film will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. With the release of Gangubai Kathiawadi on February 25, the Gully Boy stars will be pitted against each other at the box office. On the same day, Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar will also be released. The film is being produced by YRF.
